STORMING THE BEACHES - ReadMe File

Storming the Beaches is a mission that takes place in between 'Slaying Ravana' and 'The Sixth Wonder' in the main FS2 campaign in terms of timescale - the difference being that you're fighting for the NTF, securing a beachhead in Epsilon Pegasi with the NTD Repulse and other NTF vessels. This mission is a heavy bomber assault, so get ready to take down a fair few GTVA capships before the battle it over.

This mission came about while I was playing through the main FS2 campaign once again. I got the idea that this battle would make a very cool mission, and I opted to make it a bomber mission as there aren't that many good single bomber missions around. They're pretty hard to make a put into context in a single mission, I guess. Anyway, I *hope* this is a good bomber mission. Enjoy! :)

Thanks to M'Prok for the ideas on improvements and a better ending, Griffon for reminding me to fix a few things, and BlueFlames for a few things I would've missed otherwise. Incidentally, the mission has been delayed a couple of weeks by a massive debriefing bug I've only just fixed. Ooops... :)

Other missions by me: Ragnarok; The Hammer Falls; Derelict 0.99 campaign release (well, about 1/2 of it); Burnout; A Little Piece of Hell. Coming soon Derelict Full Release (co-authored with Agatheron) and another single mission. Here endeth the p1mping.

If you can provide a voice for FS2: Derelict voice acting please send an 11kHz 8-bit mono sample of yourself saying anything you like to the above email address.

COPYRIGHTS AND ALL THAT STUFF

Yeah, yeah...all of this stuff is probably Volition's copyright, so credit to them. Erm, if you're going to modify this mission, DON'T re-distribute it, especially not under your name! It's best if you just don't do it, or ask me first :)
